Incorporate Aroma into your Daily Life

Bring the therapeutic benefits of aroma to your day

Incorporating home fragrance into your daily routine can enhance your living environment, creating a more inviting, calming, or invigorating atmosphere. Here are some ideas on how to do it:

Morning Uplift

Citrus or Mint Scents - start your day with energising scents like citrus or mint. Awaken, Happiness or Uplift & Boost are great blends. Use a diffuser or light a candle in your bathroom or kitchen while you prepare for the day. These scents can help awaken your senses and boost your mood. Alternatively if you are short of time throw a shower steamer into your shower, spritz some room spray or using an aromatherapy inhaler to get you going!

Work or Study

Focus-Enhancing Fragrances - scents like rosemary, eucalyptus, or peppermint are known to improve concentration and mental clarity.

Place a diffuser or a scented oil near your workspace to keep you focused and productive. If you are on the go and not at your desk, have an aromatherapy inhaler at hand for a quick burst of energy boosting oils. Try Energise Essential Oil Blend or any of the Invigorating Aromatherapy Inhalers or Reed Diffusers.

Afternoon Refresh

Fresh Floral or Herbal Notes - refresh your space in the afternoon with light, airy scents such as lavender, jasmine, or geranium. Spritz a room spray or use a wax melt to create a peaceful and refreshing environment during your midday break. Herb Patch and Walled Garden Melts or Bloom & Flourish Room Mist are all great combinations.

Evening Relaxation

Calming/Relaxing Scents - As the day winds down, transition to calming fragrances like vanilla, chamomile, or sandalwood. Light a candle in your living room or bedroom to create a cosy, relaxed ambiance for unwinding after a busy day. Serenity Reed Diffuser, Spa Day Essential Oil Blend and Relax & Unwind Aromatherapy Candle are ideal to help you chill out.

Bedtime Ritual

Sleep Inducing Scents - Incorporate sleep-inducing fragrances like lavender or chamomile into your bedtime routine.

Take a soak in a bath infused with therapeutic bath salts or bath tea to help you wind down, whilst burning a candle or melts to create a cosy relaxing atmosphere.

You can use a room spray to spritz on and above your bed or a diffuser with these scents to help signal to your body that it’s time to relax and prepare for sleep. Try Sleep Room Mist, Soothe Bath Tea and Calm Bath Salts.

All the above and more can be found on the Flicker & Scent website where you will find a wide range of home fragrance and wellbeing products all inspired by nature and to suit every mood shop here for more inspiration.
