One of the things I considered as a priority when setting up my little home fragrance and wellbeing business, was that being eco friendly and responsible would be at the heart of all I did.

From sourcing natural ingredients to eco friendly packaging, my aim is to build a high quality, ethical brand!

These are the steps I am taking to be as kind as possible and reduce my environmental impact on our wonderful planet!

Ingredients

I ensure that the ingredients used to make my products are natural, vegan and environmentally friendly, from using 100% natural soy wax in my melts and candles to organic natural salts and coconut milk powder in my bath soaks. It is also worth remembering that these are kind to you as well as our planet - avoiding modern man made toxic materials which often cause chemical sensitivity and allergic reactions.

Sourcing ingredients from like minded suppliers is always important, as is using local UK based companies to cut down on the carbon footprint.

Recycle, Recycle, Recycle

As well as being eco friendly in making and packaging my products, I also have to consider this when getting these to you lovely people! Of course it is important that my products arrive safe and without damage, so I need to consider this when preparing to post the items out.

Strong cardboard postal boxes, tape and void fill are all important to protect the goods in transit. I recycle whenever possible, saving as much outer and loose fill packaging from my supplies received and re-use these to send out my own orders. I mainly use brown paper as void fill in any boxes, but if bubble wrap is used, rest assured this has been recycled! The postal bags are unfortunately plastic, as this is the best option to keep items from damage, but these are fully recyclable. I am just in the process of switching to paper parcel tape, but do need to use plastic at times as this can be stronger, however, I try to keep this to a minimum!
